What you need for using regain

Desktop search: The following are the requirement for using regain on your desktop computer:

• Java. You can download Java here for free.

Server search: The following are the requirement for using regain for your internet or intranet web site:

• a webserver where Java is installed.
• a servlet enging, e.g. Jakarta Tomcat

How regain is installed and configured is explained in the regain help.

Usage

regain is an open source project released under the LGPL (Lesser General Public License). That is regain may be used for free. You are allowed to develop or customise regain, but you have to provide the source code to everybody that gets the changed version. regain may be included in other projects without having to publish the source code of these projects.
